Kyungmee Yoon

Kyungmee Yoon, born in Seoul, is now represented by Nikitin Gallery. A graduate of Ewha Woman’s University and Pratt Institute in New York, Yoon has developed a refined abstract language centered on her signature layered “dot” compositions-meditative, rhythmic fields of color that balance structure and atmosphere. Exhibiting consistently since the early 1990s, with international presentations including London and works acquired by Louis Vuitton, her practice bridges Korean contemplative tradition with Western formal training, creating luminous surfaces that invite stillness, depth, and spatial infinity.
