Jeremy McBrian's work is inspired by his family, memory, cartooning, holiday decorating and storytelling. He has participated in group shows in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, Minneapolis MN, Los Angeles, CA, Brooklyn, NY, New York, NY, and Tokyo, Japan. Jeremy is constantly creating, working on multiple paintings at once, using every last bit of paint, moving back and forth between works. He uses a mixed media pallet of oil, acrylic, chalk pastel, ink, embroidery thread, and found fabrics. The fabrics he has collected over the years create a nostalgic sewn patchwork canvas for his paintings.
